Laura Ensinger – Head of Family Law
Working exclusively in Family Law, Laura has extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of Family Law and Domestic Violence matters. Her skills encompass drafting Court Applications as well as appearing as an advocate for her clients in Procedural and Interim Hearings in Divisions 1 and 2, of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, as well as the Magistrates Court of Queensland.
Laura has appeared for clients in a variety of Family Law matters including parenting disputes, de facto and same sex relationships, international parenting matters, financial agreements and settlements, child support, domestic violence, and spousal and adult child maintenance matters. Laura prides herself on her approachable manner, professionalism, and genuine client care.
She is particularly knowledgeable in complex parenting and domestic and family violence matters, having previously worked for the specialist Family Law Team at Legal Aid Queensland. Laura’s empathetic and compassionate nature allows her to provide sound and meaningful advice to her clients. Laura has an ambitious and empathetic approach to Family Law and aims to ensure clients receive the best possible outcome for their matter, whether their matter is in, or out of Court.
