Suvradip Maitra – Lawyer

Suvradip graduated with First Class Honours with a Bachelors of Science/Laws (Honours) at the University of Queensland in 2020. Since graduating, he has worked as an associate to a Justice in the QLD Court of Appeal, as a criminal lawyer at the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency and as a commercial lawyer at Corrs Chambers Westgarth. Previously, Suvradip has been an intern with the United Nations with Cambodia and worked with the Northern Land Council in Darwin. He is passionate about helping individuals and small businesses navigate the complexities of commercial, succession and property law. He prides himself on his customer service and attention to detail while attending to his clients’ needs.

Along with his legal practice, Suvradip has a keen interest in researching the ethics of algorithmic technologies. Following his passions, he has participated in research projects at leading universities including Harvard, Cambridge, University of Melbourne and University of Queensland. He is always able and willing to chat about all things technology and society!

Suvradip moved to Australia with his family in 2008 and carried over a keen interest in cricket from his childhood in India. He has a particular interest in assisting clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. His fluency in Bengali and Hindi will enable him to assist you in your language of choice.
